F5 Upgrade Download the intended version from f5 downloads page https://my.f5.com/manage/s/downloads you need to create an account on the f5 website. download all files, except virtual edition Login to the web admin portal of the f5 device > System > Software Management Delete the unused iso first, it will be the lower version that is not active - this is to make harddrive space Upload the new iso into the device via the import buttondepending on the version, the rare occastion it may come with a hotfix, those can be uploaded to the hotfix menu Once uploaded, install the iso to the non-active disk Thats it,install is done, and now you can try to boot into but going to boot locations: Choose the harddisk where the new version is isntalled, and always choose YES to install configuration from teh previous volume > activate. In about 15-20mins, the device will boot up and the new version should display In active-standby device, always do the standby first > failover to it, then do the primary > then fail back
